Kiss FM breakfast show host Kamene Goro is set to leave the station just three years after she was poached from NRG radio.
The media personality has not revealed any reasons for her sudden exit but sources at Lion’s Place, the headquarters of Radio Africa which owns Kiss FM have confirmed that she is leaving this Friday.
A replacement who will partner with comedian Oga Obinna for the morning show has already been found and will start working next week on Monday.
Kamene,30 is not new to the media industry. She started out at Ebru TV as a prime-time news anchor immediately after graduating from the University of Nairobi. She then joined NRG radio in 2017 as a breakfast show presented where she was paired up with content creator Andrew Kibe.
The two were then poached to Kiss FM in 2019 but Kibe did not last at the station. Kibe was replaced with comedian turned politician Jalango in 2020. The comedian left the station last year to try out his hand in politics where he won the Langata Parliamentary seat.
