Opposition leader Raila Odinga has declared that he will lead his supporters in a peaceful march to State House in 10 days’ time to protest the high cost of living.
While speaking in Kitale yesterday, the Azimio leader said the countdown has already begun.
“We state categorically that this is not the time to create offices and positions for Kenya kwanza political rejects and crooks,” said Raila.
“Our countdown to the 14-day ultimatum still stands. We have ten days to go. We remain unbowed. Kenya must reclaim from the hands of thieves,” he announced.

The former Prime minister further said that he was not bothered by the reports that the government had asked Western countries to deny him visas due to his calls for protests.
“Asking the West to ban me from their countries is cowardice. I will fight for the rights of Kenyans. Our election was stolen, they know it,” he said.
“We don’t have any issues with other countries. We are friends with neighbouring and international countries from the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Russia and African countries. If we have problems, it is our responsibility as Kenyans to transform and solve them.”
