A woman in Embakas, Nairobi has landed in trouble with the law after she accosted a woman suspected to be her husband’s lover and bit her on the lips as a warning.
According to police, Caroline Mboya trailed Mercy Nekesa on February 18 as she was on her way to the shop. She stopped her on the road and accused her of snatching her husband while creating a scene.
During the scuffle, Caroline bit Nekesa on her lips before escaping from the scene. Nekesa reported the matter at the Embakasi Police Station the next day.
Police immediately launched a manhunt for the suspect. She was arrested on Wednesday and presented at the Makadara Law Courts where she was charged with assault and causing bodily harm.

She denied the charges and was released on a Sh50,000 cash bail. The hearing of the case will start on May 16.
