A member of parliament from the Rift Valley has shocked his colleagues after it emerged that he has bought four houses in the upmarket Karen neighbourhood of Nairobi since last August last year. The Mp who rarely speaks in parliament and whose education credentials have always been questioned has suddenly become the new Mr money bags in town. This is despite rumours that he had fallen out with seniors in his party and that he had been thrown to the political cold.
Well it now appears that the reason for the Mps silence is because of the backroom deals that he has been making since the election.
