Two men have been killed in Nyeri town after a fight over a Sh20 debt turned ugly.
According to the police, Kelvin Wachira was stabbed in the neck by a man identified as Githinji. This is after the two allegedly disagreed on how the debt would be settled.
Wachira died on the spot. Githinji’s attempts to flee the scene were thwarted by a mob that attacked him with kicks and blows. He also died.
Their bodies were taken to the Nyeri Referral Hospital Mortuary.
