Sections of Mombasa and Langata roads between Carnivore Grounds and Nyayo Roundabout will be partially closed on Saturday morning to allow for the annual Karen Hospital Heart Run, 2023.

SGA Security, in a statement on Friday, revealed that the closure will disrupt traffic along Mombasa, Lang’ata and Mai Mahiu roads towards Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD).

According to the notice, motorists along Mombasa Road seeking to connect to Lang’ata Road are advised to use the Southern Bypass after reaching South C Flyover.

“There will be a partial road closure from Carnivore Grounds to Nyayo Roundabout on Saturday, 17/06/2023, starting at 7:15 AM,” stated SGA.

“To reach Lang’ata Road, it is advised to utilize the Southern Bypass and take the Ole-Sereni exit.”

The alert also notes that traffic will be disrupted on Mai Mahiu Road, Muhoho Avenue, Kiganjo Avenue, and sections of Mombasa Road from the South C Flyover.

Consequently, road users have been advised to plan their routes accordingly in order to avoid inconveniences.
