Pep Guardiola has ruled out the possibility of bringing Kylian Mbappe to Manchester City.

Mbappe’s future is currently up in the air after the 24-year-old sent a letter to his club Paris Saint Germain last week updating them on his current stance.

The pacey forward, whose deal at PSG runs out in 2024, does not wish to commit to PSG, and would rather bid his time before deciding on his next destination.

This has left the French giants in a conundrum on whether to cash in on Mbappe or to allow him to play for the club next season and risk losing him for free.

The uncertainty surrounding Mbappe’s future has put several clubs on high alert, including Real Madrid, who have gained a notorious reputation for their attempts to sign the Frenchman.

However, Guardiola do not want him at City.

When asked, the Man City head coach said: “We will not sign Kylian Mbappé, he’s not joining Man City — all of you know where he wants to go…”.
