Kenza Layli, a Moroccan influencer, has made history by becoming the first-ever winner of a virtual beauty pageant, triumphing over 1,500 AI models to secure the top spot. She won a $20,000 grand prize and is available 24/7 in seven languages to engage with her 190,000+ Instagram followers.
Layli’s virtual character not only celebrates Moroccan culture and technology but also aims to use her fame to uplift women, save the environment, and promote positive robot culture. “AI is a tool to complement human capabilities, not replace them,” she says.
The creator of the AI model, Meriam Bessa, received $5,000 in cash, a mentorship program, and PR support for her achievement.
Layli’s win signifies a new era in AI innovation and acceptance, showcasing the potential for AI to complement human creativity and efforts.
