Kenyan star athlete Faith Kipyegon has once again broken her own record in the race at the Paris Diamond League.
Kipyegon set the new record by clocking a time of 3:49:04 at Stade Charlety, led out by two pacemakers. She eclipsed her previous record, set in Florence in June 2023, by 0.07 seconds.
Australian Jessica Hull came second with the fifth fastest 1500m time in history, clocking 3:50:83.
In related news, President William Ruto sent a congratulatory message to 1,500 meters World Record holder Faith Kipyegon after she broke her own record.
