Service provider Safaricom has announced a scheduled system maintenance set for Sunday night from 11 pm to 4 am on Monday. The maintenance aims to enhance services and ensure customers are connected to endless possibilities.
Safaricom stated, “To meet our promise to always offer worry-free superior customer experiences, we will be conducting a scheduled system maintenance on the night of Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 11 pm to 4 am on Monday, July 15, 2024.”
During this maintenance period, access to certain services such as lipa na M-PESA, paybill, buy goods services, international money transfers (Western Union), M-PESA Global, as well as the M-PESA App and my Safaricom App will be available intermittently. However, all other services, including calls, data, SMS, and all other M-PESA services, will remain available as usual.
Safaricom emphasized that the timing of the maintenance has been carefully planned to minimize inconvenience to customers. The company apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for customers’ understanding as it strives to provide best-in-class services.
