Shiksha Arora has announced her departure from KBC after serving as a news anchor for three years. She shared the news on social media, revealing that she will host her final show on Friday, July 19, at 9 pm.
“My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family. Thank you to everyone who joined me on this incredible journey on #EasyFriday on KBC for the past 3 years. I covered the elections, danced with the biggest names in the entertainment scene in Kenya, interviewed over 100 celebrities & artists on the show & WHAT A TIME WE HAD! We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grew together on @kbc_television. This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited for. As I say goodbye to KBC, join me tonight at 9 PM, one last time on Easy Friday! Grateful for every moment and every memory on #EasyFriday ❤️📺.”
Arora joined KBC as a news anchor in 2021 after leaving K24, where she also served for three years. In addition to her media career, Arora has made a name for herself as a prominent social media influencer.
