Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has revealed that he has forgiven his wife, Grace Atieno, even after she cheated on him. In an interview with Mwende Macharia, Stevo shared that despite their breakup, he and Atieno remain on good terms. The “Freshi Barida” hitmaker mentioned that he is currently in discussions with her family to see if reconciliation is possible.
“Tunaongea na yeye tunataka mambo iwe sawa. Sahi niko na mazungumzo na family yake tuone kama atarudi,” Stevo said, expressing his hope for mending their relationship.
Stevo, a devout Christian, emphasized the importance of forgiveness in his faith. He explained that although Grace was impregnated by another man, he holds no grudges as long as she does not repeat the mistake.
“Kulingana na dini ya Kikristo, kosa sio kosa ila kurudia kosa ndio kosa. Biblia inasema samehea saba mara sabini. Nishamsamehea sina kinyongo na yeye,” he stated.
In December, reports surfaced on social media suggesting that Stevo was depressed after discovering his wife was pregnant with another man’s child. In a leaked audio clip, Stevo was heard saying, “The pregnancy isn’t mine. We were not together after my dad’s funeral, and she came back while pregnant.”
Stevo Simple Boy had introduced his wife, Grace, at his father’s burial in February 2023. Grace, in turn, introduced herself and shared that Stevo’s father had invited her home. Unfortunately, she never had the chance to meet him before he passed away.
