Two-time Olympic gold medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce competed in style at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, sporting a luxury Richard Mille watch during the women’s 100m round one heat. On Friday, Pryce, in her fifth and final Olympics, dominated the competition in the women’s 100m race while wearing a Richard Mille 07-04 Automatic Sport watch worth $185,000.
Pryce’s choice of accessory comes as no surprise, as she signed a deal last year to become a brand ambassador for the Swiss watch company. In a statement, Pryce explained her collaboration with Richard Mille, highlighting their shared vision regarding legacy.
“It’s about pushing barriers. People have always told me what I could or couldn’t do, [so] I wanted to be part of a brand that knows about timing, where age doesn’t limit your progress,” she said.
“At the end of the day, we have the same vision as it pertains to our legacy. What we want to achieve is timeless.”
Richard Mille celebrated the partnership, emphasizing why Pryce is an ideal ambassador. “She is a strong woman who combines sprinting with being a mother,” Mille said. “As if that wasn’t already enough, she finds the energy for her charity work, and this all-round commitment totally reflects our values.”
