Grammy award-winning singer Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, widely known as Adele, has announced that she will be taking an indefinite hiatus from music starting in November, following the conclusion of her ongoing performances and concerts.
During her recent show in Munich last weekend, Adele shared with the audience that she is ready to step away from the spotlight to embrace the life she has been working on while actively engaged in music and show business.
“I just need a rest. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now. I want to live the life that I’ve been building, and I will miss you terribly. I will not see you for an incredibly long time. And I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break,” she emotionally expressed to the crowd.
Earlier, Adele had hinted that she would not be creating new music anytime soon. “I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while,” the singer mentioned in a recent interview.
