A Range Rover driver caused a stir after allegedly fueling up with KSh 10,500 worth of petrol at a Shell station in Limuru and driving off without paying. The incident, involving a luxury vehicle with registration number KDG 400G, quickly went viral online, prompting widespread outrage.
Many were perplexed by the fact that someone with such a high-end vehicle would not pay a relatively modest amount of KSh 10,500 for fuel. The online backlash intensified, pressuring the driver to take action.
In response to the growing public pressure, the driver has now settled the outstanding amount by sending the money to the petrol station attendant via M-Pesa.
