Bishop Ben Kiengei has addressed recent rumors alleging a secret affair with church matron Damaris Dama, a prominent businessman in the mobile spare parts industry. Speaking on Sunday at his JCM church in Kamakis Bypass, Kiengei firmly denied the allegations and reiterated his commitment to his marital vows.
“I want to make it clear that I have only one wife, as instructed by the Bible,” Kiengei declared, prompting cheers from the congregation. To reinforce his statement, he introduced his wife to the church and invited her to the pulpit to greet the attendees.
Notably, Damaris Dama, who is reportedly involved in the affair rumors and holds a senior position within the church, was absent from the service.
