Hours after Mumias MP Peter Salasya distanced himself from businesswoman Huddah Monroe, she has fired back with her side of the story. Salasya had previously admitted to having a crush on Huddah, with the two engaging in playful banter on social media.
However, Salasya recently changed his tune, claiming that Huddah prefers wealthy men and implying that she would waste money. In a social media post, the politician said, “I officially disassociate myself from this chick. Any comment I made that hurt anyone, please forgive me. It was just social media banter.”
In response, Huddah clapped back, revealing that Salasya had sent her Ksh 10,000, which she promptly returned.
“This guy sent me Ksh 10,000, and I didn’t even notice. I do Ksh 50,000 giveaways. Mimi si kienyeji bro. Tafuta size yako,” Huddah responded in her Instagram stories.
She went on to explain that she hadn’t noticed the Mpesa notification because she regularly receives much larger amounts. “How would I notice Ksh 10,000 when people send me Ksh 2,200,000?” she added.
Huddah warned Salasya not to tarnish her reputation over such a small amount, saying, “Don’t ruin my name because of $80. Let your people know I returned that chicken money.”
She then advised him not to play with her, pointing out that she operates at a different level. “Someone sent me Ksh 2 million. How could I have noticed Ksh 10,000? Small boys need to go play in their room,” Huddah stated, hinting at her elevated status and thanking God for keeping her away from “low vibes.”
