Paul Pogba’s brother, along with five other men, is set to stand trial in connection with an alleged extortion case targeting the French football star.
The case stems from a harrowing incident in March 2022, when Pogba, 31, was reportedly kidnapped and robbed in Paris.
According to reports, Pogba was approached by two masked and armed men who demanded €13 million (£10.98 million) for ‘protection services.’
The attackers allegedly had ties to individuals close to the World Cup winner, who are accused of orchestrating the meeting that culminated in Pogba’s abduction.
The trial will address the charges stemming from this high-profile case, which has drawn significant attention due to Pogba’s prominence in the world of football and the serious nature of the allegations.
