Several women in Uganda have been arrested after staging a bold protest against the government.
The women, some of whom were topless, were apprehended while marching towards Parliament. At the time of the arrest, they were chanting slogans denouncing corruption and criticizing the government.
Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni has been hard on protesters in the country even warning them that they are ‘playing with fire’.
