The family of businessman Francis Ng’ang’a is grieving the loss of their loved one, Lucy, who tragically passed away following complications from a cosmetic surgery procedure. According to statements shared by brand influencer Amira on Instagram, Lucy experienced severe complications after an alleged botched surgery, which led to her being admitted to a city hospital, where she passed away four days later.
Amira, who has shared her own journey with body transformation, expressed sorrow over Lucy’s passing and outlined the tragic series of events. She stated that Lucy’s procedure was allegedly performed by someone without proper certification as a plastic surgeon, leading to dire consequences. During the surgery, Lucy’s intestines were reportedly perforated multiple times.
Lucy was initially discharged from the clinic, Body By Design, but soon returned due to unbearable pain. With no doctors available at the clinic, she was taken to Nairobi Hospital, where emergency surgery attempted to address the damage. Despite these efforts, Lucy’s condition deteriorated, and she passed away in the Intensive Care Unit.
“She was in pain and was discharged home from Body By Design on 22nd but the pain became unbearable the same day and she went back only to find no doctor and was then rushed to another hospital where her condition was so bad she went for surgery to try and clean the tummy where they found the intestines were perforated 5 times,” she wrote.
“Her condition was so bad she ended up in ICU and died 4 days later. Her post mortem has confirmed this and justice will be served! May Lucy Rest In Eternal Peace!” she wrote.
She confirmed that a post-mortem has revealed the extent of the damage, adding that the family is seeking justice.
