The family of content creator Tabitha Gatwiri has disclosed that an autopsy conducted on her body determined the cause of death as positional asphyxia, coupled with brain edema. Positional asphyxia can occur when someone’s body position obstructs breathing or limits oxygen intake, which can result in suffocation, loss of consciousness, and, in severe cases, death.
In light of allegations that Tabitha may have been poisoned, the family has requested a full toxicology report to confirm or rule out the possibility of poisoning or intoxication. In a statement , they mentioned that arrangements for her burial are underway, with further details to be shared by her immediate family soon.
