Gospel singer Guardian Angel, 33, and his wife Esther Musila, 54, are celebrating their two-year marriage amidst criticism over their significant age gap.
Despite facing negative comments online, particularly about their 20-year difference, Musila has confidently defended their relationship.
In a recent TikTok session, she addressed the insults, including being called “old” and having her choice of partner questioned, with some even suggesting that Guardian Angel was close in age to her son.
Musila responded with pride, playfully remarking, “Yes, I may be older, but I’m still a fine girl. For those insulting me—why didn’t my husband choose you when you were so young and beautiful?”
She expressed how the criticism exposed her to the toxicity of online judgment, questioning why people feel the need to insult others. Despite the backlash, she remains unapologetic and says she thrives in her marriage.
“Those calling me old—do they think they won’t age too? They hate because they can’t have what I have,” she added.
Reflecting on her past, Musila opened up about her first marriage, explaining that it wasn’t fulfilling at the time because she was young and more focused on others.
However, she now feels grateful for her relationship with Guardian Angel, who she says has helped her embrace the role of a wife.
“I love being a wife, and I’m grateful to Guardian Angel for helping me embrace this role,” she shared, expressing her happiness with her current marriage.
