Bonfire Adventures co-founder Sarah Kabu has dismissed allegations surrounding a viral assault video, labeling it as part of a smear campaign against her.
The video, which surfaced online, purportedly shows a woman resembling Sarah in an altercation with someone claiming to be her househelp.
Taking to Instagram on December 4, Sarah denied knowing the woman in question and described the situation as a coordinated effort to tarnish her reputation.
“There is a paid campaign claiming that someone is my househelp and that I assaulted her. I want to make it clear that this is not my househelp,” she stated.
Sarah explained that the allegations were baseless and announced her intention to publicly introduce her actual house managers to clarify the matter.
She also expressed her resolve not to be intimidated by the campaign against her.
The CCTV footage in question shows a woman, allegedly Sarah, holding an object resembling a knife and appearing to push the househelp out of the house. The situation escalates until her husband, Simon Kabu, intervenes to defuse the altercation.
Sarah has not directly addressed the specifics of the footage but maintains that the claims are false. She pledged to provide further details and context to clear her name.
