Joseph Wambui, widely known as Khalif Kairo, has been arrested again, this time over claims of a botched car deal. The prominent car dealer was apprehended on Saturday afternoon and is currently being questioned at the Capitol Hill Police Station.
The arrest stems from allegations that Kairo failed to deliver a vehicle despite the client having paid all required costs.
In response to the incident, Kairo took to Twitter to reassure his followers that he remains resolute despite the challenges.
“If I give up, I will be betraying the millions of people I inspire. Unless God himself sanctions it, no amount of intimidation or harassment will bring me down. We are coming back bigger and better. Keep supporting me, keep praying for me,” he tweeted.
This latest arrest follows a similar incident just over a month ago, where Kairo was detained at the Kasarani Police Station over another unresolved car deal. The businessman has vowed to overcome his current troubles, with many of his supporters rallying behind him online.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter as the businessman faces mounting scrutiny over his dealings.
