Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Saturday attended the wedding of Peter, son of Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano, and his bride, Wambui. The colorful ceremony took place in Tigoni, Kiambu County.
In a Facebook post, the Deputy President reflected on the importance of family and societal values, emphasizing their role in building a prosperous nation.
“As we aspire to build strong families and a better nation, we must pursue both the hardware and the software that underpin strong societies,” Kindiki wrote. “For our all-around prosperity, we require to supplement this crucial national hardware with the software of positive social values, love for one another and for our country, stronger families, and inter-generational solidarity.”
The event was graced by other prominent leaders, including Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.
