Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is reportedly interested in purchasing Premier League club Liverpool FC, according to his father, Errol Musk.
In an interview with Times Radio, Errol revealed that the Musk family has strong ties to Liverpool FC.
Despite the club’s current valuation of $5.3 billion, Errol mentioned that his son, who is worth $426 billion as of January 8, 2025, would eagerly seize the opportunity if the club’s current owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), decide to sell.
FSG, which has owned Liverpool since 2010, has seen significant success under its leadership, including winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
As of the latest standings, Liverpool FC is currently at the top of the Premier League with 46 points, six points clear of second-placed Arsenal and third-placed Nottingham Forest, both of whom have 40 points but have played one more game.
