Lugulu Girls High School, a prestigious national school in Bungoma County, is among the institutions whose 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results have been withheld by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
In a communication addressed to parents and guardians of the affected candidates, the school’s principal, Dinah Cheruiyot, reassured stakeholders that the matter is being addressed and urged them to remain patient.
“Dear Parent/Guardian, we are aware that your child has not yet received their examination results. Please rest assured that the matter is being addressed, and the results will be made available to you in due time. Further communication will follow. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the statement read.
The school’s administration clarified that the results have not been canceled but withheld pending investigations into alleged irregularities during the examinations. Parents and students have been urged to remain calm as they await further updates from the relevant authorities.
