The Nairobi Hospital has announced significant leadership changes within the Kenya Hospital Association (KHA), the body responsible for managing the facility.
In a notice issued on Friday, January 10, KHA Board of Management Chairman Dr. Chris Bichage confirmed the appointment of Felix Osano as the acting Chief Executive Officer.
This transition follows the departure of James Nyamongo, whose term as CEO ended on December 6, 2024, upon the expiration of his contract.
“Mr. James Nyamongo exited the organization as the Chief Executive Officer of the KENYA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION (KHA) /THE NAIROBI HOSPITAL effective 6th December 2024 upon expiry of his contract. We wish to thank Mr. Nyamongo for his service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” the notice stated.
Felix Osano, who previously served as the hospital’s Director of Supply Chain, steps into the interim CEO role with over 17 years of experience across various industries, including private equity, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and healthcare.
Osano is a Doctoral Candidate at the United States International University (USIU), specializing in Strategic Management, and also holds an MBA from the same institution.
“The Board wishes Mr. Osano the best on his appointment,” the statement concluded.
