Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Treasurer Timothy Bosire has rejected his recent appointment by President William Ruto as the non-executive chairperson of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) board.
In a gazette notice numbered 391 and dated January 17, 2025, President Ruto announced Bosire’s appointment for a three-year term, replacing Dr. Manoj Shah in the role.
Bosire has however declined the offer.
“After consultations with a section of the leadership, my family, and friends, I have decided to decline this appointment. I express my gratitude to the appointing authority, His Excellency President William Ruto, for considering me,” Bosire told the Daily Nation.
