Popular Radio Jambo presenter Cyrus Afune, widely known as Lion Deh, will be absent from his evening drive show “Mbusi na Lion Teke Teke” for an indefinite period following the tragic loss of his child.
The heartbreaking news was shared by his colleague, Massawe Japanni, during her evening show. Preliminary reports indicate that the child passed away after falling from a balcony, sustaining a fatal brain injury.
Massawe expressed her condolences and informed listeners that Lion Deh would take time off to grieve with his family. She also mentioned uncertainty about whether Mbusi, Lion’s co-host and close friend, would continue the show in his absence, given the deep bond between the two.
