Retired president Uhuru Kenyatta has urged young Kenyans to refuse to be scared by the regime and continue fighting for their rights.
“Don’t sit back and let people steal what you have worked for. Nothing lasts forever. Everything is worth fighting for. You can’t just stand there and let people take your hard-earned sweat.”
Uhuru was speaking during the burial of his first cousin, veteran rally driver Kibathi Muigai who was buried in Gatundu on Friday.
Kibathi passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 72.
