An OnlyFans model, Michaela Rylaarsdam, is facing murder charges following the death of a client during an extreme fetish session.
According to court documents obtained by The San Diego Union-Tribune, police responded to a 911 call in April 2023 and found Rylaarsdam performing CPR on an unresponsive man later identified as 56-year-old Michael Dale. Dale was rushed to a local hospital, where he was declared brain dead and taken off life support a few days later.
Nearly two years after his death, authorities arrested Rylaarsdam and charged her with murder.
On the night of the incident, Dale allegedly paid Rylaarsdam $11,000 for a fetish session in which he requested to be “‘wrap[ped] up in saran wrap like a mummy,’ glue a pair of women’s boots onto his feet and pour adhesive onto his eyes to seal them shut,” reports KSWB, citing the affidavit.
However, the situation allegedly escalated further. The Los Angeles Times, citing the affidavit, reports:
“He had duct tape over his mouth, a plastic bag over his head, more saran wrap around that, and then duct tape wrapped around his face and head, securing all the layers to his head. He also appeared to have had saran wrap wrapped around his neck tightly.”
The medical examiner ruled Dale’s cause of death as asphyxiation and determined it to be a homicide, stating that the plastic bag had been wrapped around his head for at least eight minutes.
When police arrived at the scene, Rylaarsdam voluntarily handed over her phone. The affidavit states there was “no evidence” that Dale “ever requested Rylaarsdam to place a bag over his head and secure it, which eventually caused him to suffocate and die.”
A video on the phone allegedly shows Rylaarsdam using a vibrator to create content for her OnlyFans page while Dale “lay with a plastic bag, Saran Wrap and duct tape sealed around his head,” reports The Times.
Rylaarsdam was arrested in February 2025 and is currently being held without bail at a San Diego detention facility. Her attorney has not commented on the case, but the affidavit states she denied putting the bag over Dale’s head.
