The High Court has ruled that the government’s directive requiring the payment of school fees via eCitizen is illegal. The court found that the directive was issued without conducting the necessary public participation, a key requirement for such policy changes.
As a result, the government has been barred from implementing the directive, and any plans to enforce it have been halted until further notice.
