Keziah Nyambura, the 41-year-old mother of three who had been struggling with a heavy stomach tumor, has sadly passed away.
On March 17, Keziah spoke about her condition, which had left her unable to sleep, walk, or eat comfortably. She revealed that her battle with the tumor began four years ago, and after seeking medical attention at a nearby hospital, she was referred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for specialized treatment.
With the help of well-wishers who came together to raise funds for her medical care, Keziah was able to start treatment at KNH. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her illness just days after beginning the treatment.
Philanthropist Karangu Muraya, who had been among those rallying support for Keziah, expressed his sorrow, saying:
“Sad to hear that our sister Keziah from Nyandarua has rested. May your soul rest in peace, mama, and may Jehovah comfort your family.”
Muraya also extended gratitude to all who supported Keziah during her fight against the illness:
“To all well-wishers who supported Keziah, may Jehovah enlarge your territories. To KNH, thank you for taking care of our sister those few weeks she has been there.”
Keziah’s passing is a heartbreaking loss to her family and the community that rallied behind her. May she rest in peace.
