Digital creator Krisbabyy, real name Christine Irungu, has addressed the harsh criticism she received following her recent pregnancy announcement.

While many of her followers, especially mothers, celebrated her news with love and support, others sent cruel and unsolicited messages that left the influencer disappointed but unshaken.

Viral Criticism from a Follower

One of the most controversial reactions came from a follower identified as Emma Kendi. In a private DM that quickly went viral after Krisbabyy shared it, the sender claimed to be “disappointed,” saying she had expected Christine to announce major milestones like buying a house, car, or business instead of a pregnancy.

The follower even compared her to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s ex, Pricy Juma, arguing that Krisbabyy was “too beautiful and successful” to have chosen motherhood at this stage.

The critic went further, speculating that the pregnancy was unplanned, suggesting the use of contraceptives or even termination:

“And if you accidentally got it because I know it might be the case, hujui P2 ama contraceptives? Alafu if it backfired, si ungetoa na unyamaze.”

Krisbabyy’s Strong Response

Krisbabyy did not hold back. She posted the screenshots publicly with captions like “Audacity!!” and “Absolutely disgusting 🤮.”

She also penned a firm message declaring she would not allow trolls to dictate her life decisions:

“Nothing and no one can dictate how I choose to embrace this journey. Msijali, it doesn’t get to me.”

Standing Tall Amid Online Trolls

The digital creator emphasized that while negativity exists online, she is choosing to focus on the joy of motherhood and the overwhelming support from her genuine fans.
