Popular TikTok star and radio host Azziad Nasenya is facing financial turmoil after her Kileleshwa home was listed for auction over a KSh 25 million unpaid mortgage.
The luxury 4-bedroom apartment, complete with a servant’s quarter, is located at Platinum Oak Residency, Block A, along Oloitoktok Road, Lavington. According to a gazette notice, the property will be sold by Okuku Agencies Auctioneers on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Jeevan Bharati Building in Nairobi.
Mounting Financial Woes
The looming auction follows weeks of online claims by individuals accusing Azziad of borrowing money and failing to repay, fueling public speculation over her financial struggles.
Adding to the unfolding saga, activist Hanifa Farsafi has urged Kenyans, especially Gen Z, to rally behind Azziad during her lowest point.
“Hello loves, sometimes we may differ on politics but this is not about politics. Our fellow Gen Z Azziad Nasenya is battling depression, her house has been auctioned and she is at her lowest. Since she is one of us, I think we should come up with a paybill to support her in these dark times. Just a suggestion, nawapenda guys,” Farsafi said.
Gen Z Solidarity?
While the call has sparked mixed reactions online, some fans have expressed willingness to contribute, while others argue that financial responsibility lies with the celebrity herself.
The unfolding case highlights the high cost of Nairobi’s luxury lifestyle and the increasing number of celebrities battling debt-related challenges.
