Actress Jackie Matubia has strongly denied allegations of having an affair with controversial gold dealer Steve Odek, following claims made by his baby mama, Ellah Ray, who is the younger sister to socialite Amber Ray.
The rumors began circulating after photos surfaced online showing Matubia seated inside Odek’s car, sparking speculation about the nature of their relationship.

In a video shared on her social media, Matubia clarified that she was merely offered a lift and was seated in the back seat, not the front passenger side.
“Ee passenger princess ndio wankaanga hapa. And also, stop trying to ruin my reputation and these stories about @steveodek_official,” Matubia said.
She emphasized that if she were romantically involved with Odek, she would not have hidden it.

The actress further hit back at critics, urging them to confront her openly instead of hiding behind anonymous or pseudo accounts.
“If you are coming to insult me in DMs and comments, please come with your chest. Leave the pseudo accounts aside. And next time, at least come with someone I have actually done something with,” she wrote.
Long-Standing Friendship with Odek
Matubia also explained that her relationship with Steve Odek is purely platonic, noting that they have been close friends since she was 18 years old.
“Life is so private that you don’t know we’ve been friends since I was 18. If I wanted, I would have!” she stated.
The actress dismissed Ellah Ray’s claims as deliberate attempts to tarnish her image and distort her long-standing friendship with Odek.
