Popular film director Phil Karanja, also known as Phil Director, has seemingly confirmed his new relationship two years after parting ways with actress Catherine Kamau, popularly known as Kate Actress.

Phil shared a romantic photo on his Instagram, holding his alleged new lover close. He captioned the post with her name alongside a love emoji, fueling speculation among fans. The lady in question, Mukami Maina, quickly reposted the image on her Instagram Stories, further affirming the soft launch.

According to reports, Mukami is a content producer and digital manager who graduated from Kenyatta University in 2022. Despite her rising fame, she has largely maintained a low profile until now.

The public unveiling has stirred conversation online, with many noting that Mukami once worked as Kate Actress’s personal assistant, making the situation even more intriguing.

Phil and Kate Actress ended their six-year marriage in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. Since then, both have pursued their individual careers, with Kate thriving in acting and influencing, while Phil has been expanding his footprint in the Kenyan film industry.
