Former Citizen TV anchor Jacque Maribe is mourning the death of her father, Mwangi Maribe, who had been battling illness prior to his passing.

Maribe shared the sad news on her social media accounts, posting a heartfelt message and a touching photo of herself with her late father.

Tribute to a Loving Father

In her post, Jacque Maribe expressed the depth of her grief:

“Now what do I tell a man like you? The definition of perfection. I do not know how I will live without you, dad, but I know you are not in pain. I love you with everything in me.”

The post immediately drew responses from friends, supporters, and fans who offered condolences and words of comfort.

Friends Pay Tribute

Close friend Denis Itumbi also took to X to honor Mwangi Maribe. He described him as a kind and welcoming man, sharing a memory captured in a photo online.

“So solid and a man so easy to bond with. There is a photo online that will forever show who he really was, a great and loving dad,” Itumbi wrote.

He assured Jacque Maribe that she remains in his thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Legacy of Mwangi Maribe

Mwangi Maribe’s death has drawn attention across the Kenyan media and entertainment circles, highlighting the strong personal bonds behind public figures. The heartfelt tributes illustrate the impact he had on both his family and those who knew him personally.
