Rachael Otuoma has strongly responded to a TikTok user who questioned why she no longer wears the ring left to her by her late husband, Ezekiel Otuoma.
Speaking during a TikTok live session on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Rachael expressed frustration over what she termed as unnecessary scrutiny of her personal life. She questioned why her live session should be disrupted over concerns about the ring.
“My Life Has Moved On”
Rachael made it clear that her life has progressed and that she sees no reason to continue wearing the old ring, especially now that she has a new partner.
“So now my TikTok live should not go on because someone is asking about the ring? I now have a partner, and I even have a husband for that matter, so I wonder if I should keep wearing those rings while this new partner of mine has an interest in putting a new ring on my finger,” she said.
She warned the commenter against pushing her too far, stating that she could address them directly in a separate live session if necessary.
“Widows Deserve Love Too”
Rachael criticised the notion that her life should remain at a standstill because she once wore the ring, describing such expectations as misguided.
“Just because my husband died, I am not supposed to be loved? Do you mean widows don’t deserve to be loved? Who told you that? Please spare me,” she asked.
She firmly stated that she had already removed the ring and stood by her decision, adding that no one has the authority to dictate how she should live her life.
Rachael concluded by emphasising that, like anyone else, she deserves to experience love again — and possibly even more deeply than those judging her.
