Popular Radio Maisha presenter Shuga Boy has officially ended his nine-year journey at the Standard Group station, marking the close of a significant chapter in his media career.

In a bold farewell statement, the radio personality reflected on his transformation from what he described as a “green” newcomer into a self-made multi-millionaire during his time at the station.

Lists Assets Acquired During Media Career

Shuga Boy revealed an impressive portfolio of assets he says he accumulated over the years, including:

  • Three personal cars — Toyota Crown, Toyota Vitz and Lexus
  • Two 14-seater matatus
  • Five boda bodas
  • A liquor business
  • Rental houses
  • A 7.5-bedroom mansion currently under construction

The presenter attributed his financial growth to discipline, hard work and strategic investments made while working in radio.

Sets KSh700,000 Salary Demand

As he pivots toward agriculture and politics, Shuga Boy made it clear that he has no immediate plans to return to the media industry.

He stated that he would only consider a comeback if offered a monthly salary exceeding KSh700,000.

Thanks Fans for Support

Shuga Boy expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support throughout his nine-year tenure, saying he leaves the station fully prepared for the next phase of his life.

His exit marks the end of an era at Radio Maisha as he shifts focus to business expansion and political ambitions.
