Car dealer Khalif Kairo has expressed optimism despite facing financial setbacks after auctioneers raided his office over rent arrears at Diamond Plaza.

In a message shared after the incident, Kairo said he remains hopeful about the future despite the current challenges.

“Current sufferings are not worth comparing to the future glory that will be revealed,” he said.

Auctioneers Conduct Public Sale

On Thursday, auctioneers from Nairobi Connection Services Auctioneers carried out a public auction of office equipment belonging to Kairo’s car dealership Kai & Karo.

Items sold during the exercise included a reception counter, office furniture, computers, a money-counting machine, a small safe, a microwave, promotional banners, and dustbins, among other equipment.

Luxury Car Also Seized

In addition to the office equipment, Kairo’s luxury vehicle, a Porsche Cayenne, was also seized during the auction process.

The auction followed reports of rent arrears linked to the dealership’s office space at Diamond Plaza.

Despite the developments, Kairo has maintained that he remains focused on overcoming the challenges and rebuilding his business.
