Award-winning actor Robert Agengo has opened up about his family life, revealing how he is managing co-parenting with five different mothers while raising six children.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Alex Mwakideu on Tuesday, Agengo said he has worked to maintain peaceful and cooperative relationships with all the mothers of his children despite the complexity of the arrangement.

The actor disclosed that his eldest child is nearly 18 years old and in college, while his youngest children were born in 2019.

“Niko na watoto sita… wamama ni watano alafu watoto ni wasita,” Agengo said.

He explained that although his children have not yet fully met and bonded with each other, he intends to organise opportunities for them to build sibling relationships.

“Nataka watoto wakutane na wajuane wao ni mandugu,” he stated.

Agengo also praised the mothers of his children for supporting him in raising the children, particularly in sharing responsibilities such as school fees and daily needs.

“Hao mama zao wamenisaidia sana, huwa tunasaidiana,” he said.

The actor added that he remains actively involved in the lives of his children beyond financial support, saying he regularly visits them and sometimes checks on them at school.

Agengo further shared his views on relationships and parenting, arguing that people can successfully raise children together even without formal marriage.

“Si lazima mwanamume akuwe ameoa ama dem aoleke lakini watu wanaweza pata watoto na walee,” he remarked.

According to the actor, the current arrangement has helped reduce conflict and improved communication between him and the mothers of his children.
