Kenyan comedian and media personality Dr. Ofweneke, born Bush Sande, has sparked online buzz after a woman identified as Joan Mwaniki alleged that they were romantically involved shortly before his recent wedding.

Ofweneke tied the knot with Diana Ingosi in a colourful traditional wedding ceremony held on May 9, attracting attention from fans and celebrities online.
However, days after the ceremony, Joan Mwaniki took to TikTok with claims suggesting she and the comedian had been in a relationship before the wedding.

In a video posted online while serving cake, Joan claimed friends had flooded her inbox with clips and photos from Ofweneke’s wedding.
“When he gets married and everybody sends me pictures and videos asking if I saw it. Yes, I saw it,” she said.
She further alleged that she had prior knowledge about the wedding and even had close friends who attended the ceremony.
“Yes, darling, I saw it. I was probably the first one to see it because I had very close friends attend it, and yes, I didn’t feel a thing, really.”
Claims About Wedding Day
Joan also claimed that Ofweneke allegedly told her he was fasting on the day of the wedding, remarks that fueled further speculation among social media users.
“I know too much, and I knew too much,” she added.
In another statement, she appeared to take a swipe at the comedian’s past relationships and marriages.
“I was never meant to be someone’s lesson after three failed attempts. Grabs popcorn.”
