A man who killed his two children in Kisii has been released on bond after pleading not guilty. Nelson Ontita, 35 was arraigned virtually before Homabay presiding judge Kiarie was Kiaria and charged with two counts of murder.

The court was told that the suspect killed his two children contrary to Sections 203 and 204 of the penal code on January 6, 2023 at Kiobegi location. His lawyer Stephen Okemwa pleaded with the court to release him on bond as the case proceeds.

“Am praying for this honourable court to release Ontita on bond,” said Okemwa.
