Police in Nairobi have arrested a suspected fraudster whom they describe as “most wanted person.”
Abdiqafar Abdirashid Abey was nabbed at Wilson Airport yesterday “while awaiting to board a plane to Elwak.” Elwak is a remote town near the Kenya-Somalia border.
“He is suspected of defrauding the public millions of shillings as reported at Nyanchwa Police Station in Kisii County,” reports the National Police Service.
NPS adds that the arrest was enabled by “crucial information” that was provided to the police by members of the public.
