Seven people escaped death narrowly after a vehicle they were traveling in caught fire in Kirinyaga today morning. The incident happened along the Kutus- Kerugoya road after the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a culvert near Karia area.
Area residents rushed to the scene and managed to put out the fire. The seven occupants were taken to Kerugoya Hospital for treatment after sustaining minor injuries.
