A man who has been having sex with his daughter for the last four years has been arrested after police caught him red handed as he was procuring an abortion for her in Njoro, Nakuru.

According to Amani sub location assistant chief Milka Lang’at, the man picked his daughter from  school in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County after he discovered that she was three months pregnant.

The man is said to have been tricked by villagers into travelling back home to conduct the procedure before being led to a backstreet in Njoro town.

The 18-year-old girl has confessed to having been forced to have the illicit affair with her father for four years. When she attempted to have her mother intervene, she was warned of dire consequences.

The chief has said that the man will be charged with incest and defilement among other charges once the police conclude their investigations.

“Today, we went to visit their home and talk to the wife about what has been happening so that she can  explain why she has been silent and whether the other daughters have been undergoing the same,” she said.
