Police have arrested Samson Ochieng Jera, the Member of County Assembly for Lindi Ward in Kibra, Nairobi.
“Samson Ochieng Jera was arrested yesterday by plain clothed police officers at Nairobi CBD outside 680 and is currently detained at Gigiri police station,” the Azimio la Umoja Coalition has said on its official Twitter handle about Jera’s arrest.
It is still not yet known why the MCA who has for a long time been a fiery supporter of Azimio leader Raila Odinga was arrested.
