Many sources indicate that N’Golo Kante would join fellow French international Karim Benzema at Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.
A contract renewal with the London club might have been struck with the 32-year-old defensive midfielder, whose deal with Chelsea was set to expire in June, but Al Ittihad instead made their bid.
Kante has agreed to a two-year, US$ 214 million contract with an additional one-year option.
On Tuesday, Karim Benzema was acquired by Al-Ittihad from Real Madrid.
